Kansas Man Charged With Selling Narcotics In Reno County

A 44-year-old Ford County man was in Reno County District Court Wednesday morning on drug related charges for a case that goes back to December of last year.

Lance Guillen is charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, no tax stamp, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of meth, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction and criminal possession of a firearm.

He was allegedly caught with the items on December 7, 2012, but the charges are just now being brought against him and he was arrested on a warrant by the Reno County Sheriff’s Office.

Bond in the case is set at only 15-thousand dollars, however he is currently serving time in the Kansas Department of Corrections. He had been released on parole at one time, but is now back in at the Norton Correctional facility on a parole violation.

He was convicted and sentenced in 2007 for aggravated burglary, possession of drugs, attempted flee and elude and two counts of theft.

The Reno County case will now be placed on a future waiver-status docket.
