MARION COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 5p.m. Wednesday in Marion County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2008 Freightliner semi driven by Sheldone Scott Smith, 54, Salina, was northbound on U.S. 77 three miles east of Marion. The semi entered the roundabout, was traveling too fast for the turn and rolled.

EMS transported Smith to St. Luke’s Hospital. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
