Kansas State University Receives Substantial Gift

Paul and Sandra Edgerley, Brookline, Mass. , have made a $10 million gift to support the new building for the College of Business Screen Shot 2013-08-08 at 4.16.14 PMAdministration at Kansas State University.

K-State officials report the proposed new building plan has 140,000 square feet of space featuring tiered classrooms, a large showcase lecture hall, computer labs, a financial research lab, and an executive conference room. The plans included dedicated space for entrepreneurship and sales education, as well as space for study, collaboration and networking throughout the building.

Paul Edgerley graduated from Kansas State University in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in business.  He earned a master’s degree in business from Harvard Business School in 1983. He is the managing director of Bain capital Partners LLC, a private investment firm based in Boston.

Sandra Edgerly graduated from Harvard University in 1984 with a degree in biology . She earned a master’s degree in business from Harvard Business School in 1989. She worked with Bain & Company for 10 years and is an active leader in a number of Boston-based children’s and educational charitable institutions.
