Hays – A Kansas woman was injured in an accident just before 10:30 p.m. on Thursday in Ellis County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a1995 Buick Regal driven by Rosetta Pauline White, 76, Stockton, was northbound on U.S. 183 just north of Hopewell Road.

The vehicle went left of center and struck a 1993 Dodge Spirit driven by Michele E. Donovan, 52, Norton, head on in the southbound lane.

Donovan was transported to Hays Medical Center.

White was not injured.
Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident.
