WICHITA- A Kansas woman was injured in an accident on New Year’s Day just before 2 p.m. in Sedgwick County.

The Kansas Highway patrol reported a GMC Envoy driven by Kristin L. Haimowitz, 29, Wichita, was southbound on Interstate 235 at South Seneca.

The driver lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
Haimowitz was transported to St. Francis Hospital

The KHP reported she was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
