KDOT approves Michigan company’s bid for work in Reno County

TOPEKA, Kan. — The Kansas Department of Transportation approved a bid for some work in Reno County.

The first project is on U.S. 50 from the west U.S. 50/K-61 junction, east 5.8 miles to
the concrete pavement at South Hutchinson.

KDOT also approved work on K-14 from the western Nickerson city limits, west to the Reno/Rice county line for crack repair on about 12.8 miles.

Scodeller Construction Co. of Wixom, Michigan, won the contract at a price of $225,084.20.
