HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Three years ago, Andrew Kibet was playing volleyball in his home country of Kenya. On Monday, the HutchCC cross country runner was named the NJCAA Division 1 Runner of the Week for the second time this season.

Kibet led the Dragons to their third team win in as many meets at the Emporia State Invitational. Kibet talks about being a part of cross country for the first time in his short running career and attributes the success to his teammates:

 

The Dragons are back in action Saturday at the Fort Hays State Invitational.
