The Board of Advisors of Leadership Reno County (LRC) announces the Class of 2012. The purpose of Leadership Reno County , a program of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce.
The purpose is to strengthen the network and effectiveness of leadership capacities in Reno County by, inspiring participants to embrace a broader role for their organizations and businesses within the context of Reno County and educating participants on the Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita’s theory of civic leadership along with four leadership competencies. It’s also good for connecting participants to each other, LRC and in time, future and past leadership participants.
Since its inception as Leadership Hutchinson in 1984, over 750 citizens who either work or live in Reno County have participated in 32 classes.
The 27 members of the 2012 class will celebrate their leadership journey on Thursday, April 12, 5:30-7 p-m, at the Hutchinson Art Center.
