HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 30-year-old man who was arrested after a domestic disturbance call back on Oct. 25, 2015, was sentenced Friday morning and granted three years probation on a five-year, eight-month sentence.

Joshua Schneithorst was convicted of possession of marijuana with intent to sell, possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with a prior conviction, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, battery, domestic violence and criminal damage to property.

He allegedly pushed the victim, then broke glass out of a door.

He was found in the basement of the home in the 300 block of West 12th. When they made contact with him, they allegedly discovered the marijuana in plain sight. The marijuana was apparently in six different bags.

He was also ordered to pay $1600 KBI lab fee , a $200.00 fine for the domestic battery conviction as well as court cost.
