HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A Hutchinson man arrested last week after a domestic disturbance was back before a judge Thursday morning for the reading of charges.

Octavio Blanton is charged with aggravated battery and criminal damage to property.

He and the victim apparently got into an argument that turned violent. He allegedly pulled her from a bathtub by her neck and choked her with her feet off the ground, thrown her against the toilet and allegedly striking her numerous times and even bit her.

He remains jailed in this case with a $15,000 bond.

He’s been on community corrections for a burglary conviction out of Sedgwick County.
