HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A 22-year-old woman and her boyfriend apparently got into an altercation early Thursday morning at a home on Grandview in Hutchinson.
The boyfriend apparently attempted to leave and Skylar Lane allegedly grabbed him and tried to pull him out of the vehicle. When that failed, she allegedly went in the home and came back and threatened him with a gun, saying “I might as well shoot you.”
She told police there was no threat because she says there was no gun, but a search warrant was obtained and police allegedly found the weapon inside.
Lane was arrested for aggravated assault and battery-domestic violence. Bond in the case was left at $7,500.
All this occurred just before 1 a.m.
Lane will be back in court on Aug. 4 to hear what charges the state files against her.
