On October 29th, 2012, Lowen IT purchased Cardinal Technology Consulting, a Wichita company that specializes in IT consultation and management.

“We’re excited to add to our already growing customer base in the Wichita market, and we’re looking forward to assisting these new customers with the planning and implementation of their future IT initiatives.” said James Starkweather, Operations Manager with Lowen IT.

This is the second purchase made by Lowen IT this year. In August Lowen IT purchased the IdeaTek Consulting Division, a Buhler company that specializes in fiber optics.

Lowen IT, an operating division of Lowen Corporation, began in Hutchinson in 2010 and recently moved into the Wichita market in May 2012, offering a variety of technology services for businesses of all sizes.
