Man arrested for break in

HUTCHINSON, Kan. —  A Hutchinson man was taken into custody after he was caught breaking into a business on E. 4th Jail picAvenue

Monday evening. Police took 30-year-old Lenny Cherry into custody on suspicion of aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, aggravated assault, felony theft and criminal damage to property.

Cherry is suspected of trying to break into Barkman Small Engine Repair just before 7 p.m.. When confronted he is said to have threatened a man with harm.

Cherry was taken to jail and is being held on a $41,750 bond.
