HUTCHINSON, Kan. —  Hutchinson Police are searching for a suspect who ran from a police check point last night.

Police were conducting a seat belt enforcement check point at 1st and Plum just before 9 p.m. when they noticed a driver not wearing his restraint. When officers approached him, he fled from the car on foot. Police located the subject later in the evening, but again, he fled from authorities.

Police think they know who they’re looking for,  but no arrest has been made.
