PRATT COUNTY — Just before 4 p.m., the Pratt County Sheriff’s Office and Pratt County Emergency Services were called to Preston to the report of two males fighting. When they arrived, they found a severely injured 21 year old, identified as Christopher Denio, lying on the ground behind the old school in Preston. He could not communicate and was having trouble breathing.

Denio was transported to Pratt Regional Medical Center by Pratt County Emergency Services and later flown to Wesley Hospital in Wichita.

Several persons were interviewed at the scene, but no word on any arrests.
