One person was taken to a Wichita hospital Monday after a car-semi accident in Marion County.

28-year-old Tammie Lynn Stoker of Wichita was taken to Wesley Medical Center after her vehicle struck the semi head-on. She was not wearing a seat-belt according to the Kansas Highway Patrol report.

According to that report, the semi was stationary on U-S 77 with a flag facing north, this in a construction zone. Stoker was southbound when she struck the semi.

The semi was driven by 56-year-old Kent Dewitt McEntire also of Wichita. He was not injured.

The accident occurring around 1:50 p-m, two and half miles north of Florence in Marion County.
