One person was taken to a Wichita hospital after a car-semi accident on I-135.

The vehicle driven by 38-year-old Alleda M, Hickel of Claflin was traveling at a reduced rate of speed due to weather conditions, while the semi driven by 51-year-old Curtis Lewis of Wichita struck the back of Hickel’s vehicle at a high rate of speed.

Hickel was taken to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, while Lewis was not injured.

The accident occurring about 11:40 a-m, Saturday morning near Moundridge in McPherson County.
