A 25-year-old McPherson man who served time for convictions of burglary in both McPherson and Mitchell counties now finds himself in more trouble, this time at the federal level.
Aaron Streight is charged with one count of unlawful possession of a firearm after a felony conviction. The crime is alleged to have occurred on Dec. 1, 2013, in McPherson County.
If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 10-years in federal prison and a fine up to $250,000.
The two burglaries occurring back in 2006 and 2008.
The McPherson County Sheriff’s Department investigated the firearm case.
