Emergency Officials responded to a crash scene around 8 a-m, Wednesday morning in the 9200 block of East G, west of Buhler-Haven Rd.

When they arrived, they found that a Toyota pickup driven by 67-year-old Robert Schrag of Hutchinson had been traveling eastbound on G. The morning sun apparently got in his eyes and he didn’t see a trailer, owned by Miller Trenching of Partridge, parked partially in the roadway for the purpose of unloading a piece of construction equipment. He then struck the left rear of the trailer.

Schrag was wearing his seat belt, however did sustain some minor injuries and was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment.
