One person was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center after a car-semi crash on K-61 Tuesday afternoon.

19-year-old Jessica Dawson of Hutchinson was cited for inattentive driving and inadequate breaks after her Toyota vehicle struck a Volvo Semi driven by 43-year-old Kimberly Knowles of Newton, Texas.

Dawson was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of minor injuries. Knowles was uninjured.

The accident occurring around 6:40 p-m, in the 2900 block of North K-61 in Hutchinson.
