GREAT BEND – A 36-year-old Joplin, Missouri woman was taken to a Great Bend hospital after a one vehicle accident in Stafford County on Wednesday.

Christy Diane Marie Jones was east bound on K-19, when she dropped the right side tire on the south shoulder, lost control, began sliding sideways and entered the north ditch and rolled 1.5 times, and her vehicle then coming rest on its roof.

Jones was taken to the Great Bend Regional Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

That accident occurring about 6:15 p-m, on K-19, 14 miles south of Great Bend, then west 3.5-miles on K-19.
