Saying he wants to explore other opportunities, Reno County Community Corrections Director Ken Moore has resigned his position effective today.

Moore has been the director for more than six years with the organization, and says he has accomplished the goals that he established when he started. The search for a replacement will begin immediately.

Deputy Director Randy Regehr will take over for Moore. Reno County Administrator Gary Meagher says the board will decide in the next week whether to appoint a replacement for Moore from with in, or advertise the position with Human Resources and hire Moore’s successor.
