HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Another round of condemned properties will come before the Hutchinson City Council during Tuesday’s meeting.
The 11 parcels include both residential and business properties. The city has been trying to push landowners into making improvements to structures or have them razed. The council will take action on a resolution to give the landowners 30 days to make repairs or come up with plans to do so.
Also Tuesday, the council will hear the appeal for former Hutchinson police officer John Suda. Suda was one of three officers fired for mishandling an impaired driver stop involving a fellow officer.
Tuesday’s meeting begins at 9 a.m. in the Hutchinson city offices.
