
HUTCHINSON, Kan. — A collision on East 30th at Elm Sunday sent a Hutchinson man to a Wichita hospital.
A motorcycle operated by 32-year-old William Cole Norberg had exited a parking lot on the north side of 30th and proceeded west.
A white car operated by 17-year-old Takoda D. Bowman had stopped at a stop sign on the south side of 30th. He pulled out to continue north on Elm. As he crossed 30th, the motorcycle and car collided in the north, westbound lane of 30th.
After the initial impact, the Bowman car struck a pickup driven by 59-year-old Randy Long. He was stopped at the stop sign on Elm on the north side of the intersection, facing south.
Norberg was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, then flown to Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita with head and internal injuries. He was listed in critical condition and was not wearing a helmet.
This collision is still under investigation by the Hutchinson Police Department Traffic Bureau.
