A Hutchinson man was injured after crashing his motorcycle west of the city Tuesday evening. According to the Reno County Sheriffs Office, 44 year old Brandon Welch was going eastbound on west 4th Avenue when he lost control of the bike at the intersection of Mohawk Road.

Welch was taken by EMS to the Fun Valley Sports Complex, then airlifted to Via=Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita where he was treated and released. The accident happened around 7 p-m, one mile west of Hutchinson.
