A 36-year-old Moundridge man was taken to an area hospital after a motorcycle crash along I-135 just after 9 a-m, Thursday morning.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Michael Patrick McClelland was northbound on the interstate at exit 45 when he lost control of the motorcycle and it came to rest in the ditch.

He was wearing a helmet, but was still transported to the Newton Medical Center for treatment.

The accident occurring near 22nd Avenue along I-135 in McPherson County.
