WICHITA (AP) – Police in Wichita say a motorcycle rider has died after an apparent collision with a school bus.

KAKE-TV reports the accident happened around 3:45 p-m, Thursday in the southern part of the city.

Police say it appears the motorcycle crashed into the back of a bus carrying students from Hadley Middle School. A spokeswoman for the school says there were no injuries among the half-dozen children on board.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
