HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The developers of the Wiley Plaza Apartments will go before the Hutchinson Planning Commission asking for a variance for a new apartment complex to be located at Sherman and
Washington that would benefit the developmentally disabled and households with occupants over age 55.
Manske and Associates is asking the Commission for the front and side yard landscaping requirements for the property located on the southwest corner of the intersection.
The complex would provide 16 one-bedroom apartments and 12 two-bedroom units. A rezoning request for the project is already on the way to the Hutchinson City Council for action during the Tuesday agenda session.
The matter will go before the Planning Commission Tuesday at the city offices.
