NEWTON, Kan. — Walmart in Newton reopened for business after a bomb threat was called in Wednesday morning. Newton officers and store employees searched the store and did not find any suspicious packages.

Police evacuated the store and surrounding area as a precautionary measure.

That store in Newton is open and there is no danger.
