SALINA, Kan. — Nickerson went 3-0 in pool play and will move onto the the semi-finals in the 4A Div II state tournament at Salina’s Bicentennial Center.

The Panters knocked off 4th seeded Baxter Springs, number 1 Holcomb and the 8th seed, Jefferson West.

It will be a battle of the Panthers as Nickerson will battle Concordia in one semifinal while Baxter Springs and Topeka Hayden face off in the other.

Semifinal matches begin at 10 a.m.
