TOPEKA (AP) – The Shawnee County Coroner says a man died of natural causes before a fire started in his room at a Topeka motel.

Fifty-seven-year-old Daryl R. True was found dead Wednesday at the Traveler’s Inn motel where he lived.

Firefighters who were called to the hotel found True’s body inside the room. They said the fire had self extinguished.

The cause of the fire has not been determined.
