TOPEKA, KAN. – A Kansas Lottery player won a bright red 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. Jeff Busch of Olathe is the grand prize winner in the Lottery’s Corvette Cash promotion in which entries were non-winning $10 Corvette Cash tickets.

The lucky winner was one of 10 finalists who participated in the Corvette Cash Grand Prize Event at the Kansas State Fair.

The finalists were drawn in four preliminary drawings held June 3, July 29, September 9 and September 19. During the Grand Prize event, each finalist picked a key off a pegboard and tried to open a treasure chest which contained the key for for the Corvette. Only one key was the right one to open the chest.

The Corvette grand prize, which includes federal and state income withholding taxes on the prize as well as initial taxes and fees has a total value of approximately $103,000.

The finalists who did not win the Corvette each received a $1,000 cash prize from the Kansas Lottery for being a finalist.
