GARNET, Kan- One person was injured in a semi-truck accident just after 10 a.m. on Saturday in Anderson County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Kenworth semi-truck driven by Ulysses Jones Terrence, 36, Omaha, NE., was northbound on U.S. 59 five miles south of Garnett.
The truck hit a slick spot in the roadway causing the truck to exit the road and hit an embankment.
A passenger in the sleeper compartment Brian Jeffrey Baker, 33, Wellsboro, PA., was transported to Anderson County Hospital.
Terrence was not injured. He was properly restrained at the time of the accident.
