HUTCHINSON, Kan. — Operation Christmas Child, a great way to help needy children in poor countries, is back.

Dawnita Miller, who owns the Carriage Crossing Restaurant with her husband, is a volunteer with Operation Christmas Child:

 

In addition to school supplies, she talks about how valuable these items are to the children. Items most Americans take for granted are invaluable to these children:

Now is the time to prepare a box. This is a great project to do with children, other family members or your church. Once the box is prepared, it can be dropped off at a couple of locations:
