HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Hutch Rec Senior Center at Elmdale Park will host a Patriots’ Day celebration on Sept. 11.

Celebrate Patriots’ Day with Hutch Rec and RSVP as both organizations pay tribute and honor those individuals lost and injured in the 9/11 attacks, as well as first responders and the many who have risen in service to defend our freedom.

This special celebration will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 11, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Hutch Rec’s Senior Center at Elmdale Park, 400 E. Ave. E.

The celebration will start with entertainment at 11 a.m., followed by a homemade lunch served at noon — $4 for guests, $3.50 for Elmdale members. The celebration will end with a special sharing time at 12:45 p.m.
