Paul Everett Hart, 83, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS.
He was born October 31, 1935 in Clayton, Mass., the son of Wilbur and Mabel Louise (Curtis) Hart. On June 13,1959 he married Nonna (Gallivan) Hart, and later divorced. On May 29, 1993 he married Barbara Rieke in Olathe, KS, she survives. Paul was a proud United States Airforce veteran serving from May 18, 1954 to July 11, 1957 when he was honorably discharged.
Paul worked 32 years for Morton Salt in South Hutchinson, KS before retiring. Paul had many hobbies throughout his life that he enjoyed; such as, woodworking, gardening and flying airplanes, but what he loved to do the most was play golf whenever he had free time to do so.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. Paul is survived by his wife Barbara Hart; children, Kelly Hart and wife Lori, Sharla Closs and husband Bill, Kevin Hart and wife Shelley, Shelly Bredemeier and husband John, Kerry Hart and wife Pam, Kyle Hart and wife Hannah; one sister, Mina Hart; thirteen grandchildren, Tyler Closs, Evan Closs, Jordan Hart, Colby Hart, Chandler Hart, Tanner Hart, Cole Bredemeier, Ellie Bredemeier, Camden Hart, Kaylee Kelly, Emory Lewis, Taylor Hart and Cooper Hart and six great grandchildren, Andre Hart, Conner Hart, Cayson Hart, Mackenzie Hart, Skylar Hart and Lennox Hart.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Hutchinson Funeral Chapel, 300 E. 30th Ave., Hutchinson, KS. Memorials may be given to the Cancer Council of Reno County and can be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
