MANHATTAN – A suspect in a case in a Manhattan criminal case surrendered Sunday evening to authorities.

Riley County Police report the arrest of 32-year-old Brian Elliston on charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, aggravated criminal threat, battery, and criminal possession of a firearm. His bond was set at $100,000.

Police said in the early afternoon hours on Sunday, they were notified of a domestic disturbance at the a Manhattan home.

Officers attempted to make contact with Elliston. He was believed to be inside the residence but would not respond to officers commands to exit.

With assistance from the Riley County Emergency Response Units, he eventually did exit the residence and was arrested.
