WICHITA (AP) – Police in Wichita say the death of a man whose body was found along a downtown riverside appears to be suspicious.

KSNW-TV 3 reports that city workers discovered the body Friday morning.

Officers are trying to identify the man, who appeared to be homeless. Police Sgt. Jeff Davis says there was frost on the man’s clothing and sleeping bag, indicating the body had been in place for at least a few hours before it was found.

Davis says two people who had been staying nearby under a bridge have been questioned about anything they might have seen.
