SALINA, Kan. — The Hutchinson Salthawks (1-3) lost 62-20 to the Salina Central Mustangs (3-1) in tonight’s game.

Salina Central pushed hard to score five touchdowns in the first half.

The Salthawks gained some traction in the fourth quarter, but the damage was already done.

Coach Vernon talked about next week’s game and how the Salthawks will prepare better than this week.

 

Hutchinson journeys to Newton next Friday, Sept. 28, for a 7 p.m. kickoff.
