NICKERSON, Kan. — The Nickerson Panthers lost to the Pratt Greenbacks Friday night 49-14.

In the first quarter, the Greenbacks scored four touchdowns to build a 28-0 lead.

Pratt added to that advantage with 14 more points before the half.

After halftime, a running clock was put in place.

Pratt’s Kadence Riner had a 10-yard rushing touchdown with less than two minutes off the board.

The Panthers finally scored their first touchdown of the night when Hunter Jones reached pay dirt with 1:23 left in the third.

The last touchdown of the night was scored by Nickerson’s quarterback Tre Garcia to make the final score 49-14.

Nickerson (2-6) will play Scott Community (8-0) next Friday night.
