RENO COUNTY — One person was injured in an accident just before 7:30p.m. Thursday in Reno County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2014 Ford Escape driven by Steven W. Ford, 49, Hutchinson, was stopped at the stop sign at Parallel Road and K-14 thirteen miles south of Hutchinson. The driver pulled out in front of a 1988 Jeep Cherokee Shawn Erich Moore, 27, Pretty Prairie. The vehicles collided.

Moore was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. Ford was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
