Pretty Prairie man injured trying to avoid deer

KINGMAN COUNTY, Kan. — A 22-year-old Pretty Prairie man was taken to the hospital in Kingman after he lost control of his vehicle while trying to avoid a deer Tuesday morning.

Keaton Andrew Danahy was westbound on Northeast 50th Street in Kingman County when he swerved to miss a deer. His vehicle struck the bridge and guardrail, and rolled over.

This occurred about 8:25 a.m., about a mile and a half east of Varner.
