Raymond, Kansas Woman Taken To Wichita Hospital After One Vehicle Accident

A 42-year-old Raymond, Kansas woman was taken to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center over the weekend after a one vehicle crash. She was then taken to a Wichita Hospital for additional treatment.

The accident reported around 9:40 a-m, Sunday at 18600 West. K-96 highway.

Reno County Sheriff Deputies found a 1996 Ford Ranger pickup that had rolled into the north ditch.

Michelle Savage told deputies that she was driving east bound on 82nd and spaced off and ran the stop sign at K-96. She says she tried to stop, but rolled the vehicle coming to rest in the north ditch.

She was not wearing a seat-belt and was thrown into the back seat. A doctor who was passing by stabilized her until EMS units arrived. She was then transported to Hutchinson Regional Hospital with undetermined injuries and later transported to Via-Cristi St. Francis Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

Savage also told the deputies that there was no insurance on the vehicle.
