TOPEKA – Governor Sam Brownback on Tuesday announced the re-appointment of a member to the Kansas State Fair Board.

Ronald Hinrichsen, of Westmoreland, is a senior territory manager for Merck Animal Health.

He’s spent 25-years in the agri-business sector, and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Kansas State University in Animal Science. Hinrichsen is being re-appointed for a three year term.

The State Fair Board is a 13 member board appointed by the Governor that acts as the showcase of Kansas agriculture, commerce and industry.

It provides education, entertainment and presents a comprehensive format for the state fair.
