Several are High School golf teams participated in regional competition Monday with several state qualifiers.

ANDALE, Kan. – Buhler Girls Golf captured 1st place in their regional with a team score of 388 edging out Andale’s 390 score. Senior Haley Miller led the way shooting an 87 and placing 2nd.  She was followed by Lauren Specht at 5th with 92.  Callie Cooper in 8th place and Hayley Engellend 10th rounded out the Top 10 medalist. Rylie Cannon was 12th and Kate McPherson 14th for a great team showing by the Crusaders.

Nickerson’s Makenna Dodson placed 9th and qualified for state as a sophomore.

WICHITA, Kan. – Hutch High’s Reaghan Martin placed 5th in the 6A Regional played in Wichita and qualified for State.  Senior Evann Deal placed 16th and was just one stroke short of qualifying for state. Hutchinson as a team placed 5th.

RUSSELL, Kan. – Cheney’s Jayln Turner placed 3rd with a 96 and teammates Kaitlyn Fowler and Morgan Sutter helped Cheney place a team 3rd score of 452.
