MEDORA, Kan. — A 79-year-old Hutchinson man was taken to the hospital after a one vehicle accident in the county Sunday afternoon.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Herbert Lewis of Hutchinson was westbound on 82nd, when he apparently had some sort of medical condition which caused him to black out. His vehicle entered the south ditch and struck of a culvert and overturned.

Lewis was transported to Hutchinson Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.

The accident occurring around 2:50 p-m, on 82nd near Kent Road, 4-miles east of Medora.
