A Hutchinson area woman who faces animal cruelty charges after three dead horses were found on her property and 10 others were rescued is scheduled to be in court Wednesday on that case, plus a previous one.

61-year-old Linda Sue Adams also has two other animal cruelty charges alleging she failed to care for her horses in 2009 and 2011.

Adams is supposed to have only four horses because she has only four acres.

A civil lawsuit seeking to limit her to four horses was filed. But, Reno County Counselor Joe O’Sullivan is trying to prohibit her from owning horses at all. He said recently Adams has no means of caring for the horses.
