North side Hutchinson residents may want to make sure doors are locked and garage doors closed. Hutchinson Police took two reports Monday of someone entering homes overnight with the residents inside.

The first reported around 7:50 a-m Monday from residents in the 300 block of Kisiwa and says the thieves took miscellaneous items. Then just before 10 a-m, a second report of pretty much the same thing, a family in the 200 block of Countryside reported items taken while they were inside their home.

The thief or thieves entered the homes and stole while the residents were home sleeping.

Police warn residents to make sure doors and windows are locked before going to bed.
