Sales Tax Collections Shows Reno County Still Ahead Of Last Year

The latest sales tax numbers released by County Treasure Clark Miller shows the county brought in slightly less tax money in September then August, but more then September of last year.

The numbers show the county collected 373-thousand, 881-dollars in September, 479-dollars less then in August, but nearly 37-thousand more then at the same time last year, when the total was 336-thousand, 978-dollars.

The county also continues to be ahead of last year, overall. So far, the county has collected 3-millions, 283-thousand, 813-dollars. At the same time last year, the county had collected around 3-million, 157-thousand, 604-dollars, which puts the county ahead for the year at just over 126-thousand dollars.

The sales tax collected in September reflect sales in July of this year.
