SALINA – An 18-year-old Salina man was arrested Tuesday afternoon on suspicion of rape, criminal threats, criminal restraint, and domestic battery.

Gabriel Tate of 510 Garden, is alleged to have sexually forced himself on a female in her late teens at his home between 11p-m Monday and 6 a-m Tuesday.

Tate also struck the woman twice with his fist and would not let her leave until early Tuesday.

The woman contacted police about 8 a-m and Tate was arrested around 5 p-m.
